Arturo Morales graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Morales is a commercial lending relationship manager for Yuma County [1]. He previously sat on the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce Board, and served as Chamber Ambassador. In 2014, he was recognized as Arizona Western College’s 2014 Distinguished Alumnus. Morales has served as a member of Yuma Rotary, the Housing America Corporation, and the Chamber’s NextGen group [2].

Morales supports rezoning more land for lower-cost multifamily housing and high-density residential housing. He would like to work with local organizations who’s employees and members frequently face housing shortages and build infrastructure such as hospitals, colleges, and military installations [3]


Morales wants to protect the Yuma water supply to combat the drought and shrinking water supplies in the Colorado River. He would like to ensure that Phoenix-metro communities do not encroach on Yuma’s water supply. Morales stresses the need for cooperation with the Yuma mayor and other mayors in the community to address this with the State to ensure the protection of Yuma’s water [3].
