|Brannon Hampton graduated from Grand Canyon University with an MBA with an emphasis in Leadership . Hampton was first elected for his first 4-year city council term in 2017 and became vice mayor of Goodyear in 2021. Hampton also works as a financial advisor with Edward Jones . Through his volunteering with various non-profits, Hampton was honored by APS for volunteerism and community commitment . He is also involved with the Arizona Small Business Association as a board member. He represents Goodyear in various organizations such as the Maricopa County Community Development Advisory Committee and the National League of Cities’ Community and Economic Development Federal Advocacy Committee.|
Hampton wants to attract and retain businesses in Goodyear, which he plans to achieve by having a balance and partnership between the city and business. He wants to increase businesses in Goodyear to increase employment within the city .
Hampton wants to carefully manage the growth of Goodyear, while respecting its communities. With the budget, he wants to provide reliable city services with the goal of a higher quality of life in the city. He plans to also focus on reducing the long-term debt of the city .
Hampton supports a strong Public Safety department for Goodyear, which includes the fire and police department .
To prevent a potential water shortage, Hampton wants to increase the city’s portfolio in looking for alternative sources of water and educating on conservation efforts .
