Christine Ellis graduated from Walden University in Science and Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science [1]. Ellis is an at-large member of the Chandler City Council. She assumed office on January 14, 2021, and her current term ends in 2025. Ellis won the election for an at-large seat of the Chandler City Council in Arizona in the primary on August 4, 2020 [6]. Ellis was a Proctor at D & S Diversified Technologies LLP DBA Headmaster and an Adjunct Instructor at Central Arizona College (Maricopa Extension) Chandler-Gilbert Community College [2]. From 1998 to 2015, she founded and operated Cedar Sanctuary LLC, for families that needed an alternative to caring for their loved ones. Ellis also has been a part of the foundation of the Bridge/FCS Ministry for over 17 years which helps feed the local homeless population in Arizona [5]. In 2011, Ellis was nominated by the Arizona Republic as one of the Top 10 Most Inspirational Women in Arizona [3].

Ellis believes diversity is central to Chandler’s history, and wants to advocate for the Chandler Diversity Office [3].


Ellis wants to look towards more free market solutions, to increase Chandler’s fiscal position, and encourage economic development in the middle class. Ellis believes developing small and large businesses is fundamental to Chandler’s economy [3].


Ellis wants to encourage Chandler residents to pursue higher education by partnering with universities like Grand Canyon University, University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and Northern Arizona University to increase educational opportunities [3].

Ellis wants to work with the Chandler Police Department to create more communication between them and the community, and also fund more neighborhood safety programs [3].
