Background

David Chastain earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and graduated from Wheeler High School. He was first elected to the Cobb Board of Education in 2014 and is currently in his third consecutive term as board chair. Chastain is additionally involved in the Advisory Board of the School of and Government and International Affairs at Kennesaw State University.

Chastain is a former sales manager and over two decades of experience in aeronautics. He has served as a candidate/activist for the Libertarian Party of Georgia. [1]
