Background

Erika Ogedegbe graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BA in Cultural Anthropology [3]. She has been the Associate Vice Provost for Enrollment and Student Success at George Washington University and a consultant and Technical Program Manager at IBM. Currently, Ogedegbe is the Chief Data Architect at American University [1, 2, 3]. She had one child at LCPS and two who have graduated [1, 2, 5, 6]. Ogedegbe was involved in a vote where she had promised to release a sexual assault report, but voted to not release the report. She later responded saying once she read the report, a large portion of the report would need to be redacted to protect the identity of minors, which she said would only lead to more skepticism and more questions about what was not being shared [6].
