|Jerry Bien-Willner graduated from Claremont McKenna College with honors and dual majors in Government and Literature. He then received his law degree from University of Arizona College of Law. He worked in Bernstein Litowitz Berger and Grossmann LLP Law Firm where he practiced complex litigation. Bien-Willnger is currently an investor and entrepreneur and continues to be a licensed attorney in Arizona and California. He first served the city when he was appointed to the Town of Paradise Valley Planning Commission in 2012. Bien-Willner then served as town council member and vice mayor until being elected mayor for the first time in 2018 .|
Bien-Willner supports preserving Paradise Valley’s scenic beauty and large one-home-per-acre lots. He values the town’s core identity and character and wants to maintain the highest property values and per capita income . As mayor, he was able to improve roads and remodel the Post Office and Community Room .
Bien-Willner wants to maintain Paradise Valley’s status as the safest place in Arizona. As mayor, the Paradise Valley Police Department met over 175 “best practice” standards through the Arizona Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP) .
Bien-Willner wants to maintain Paradise Valley’s quiet and scenic residential character by solving short-term rental properties and party house issues and preventing unwanted commercialization .
Bien-Willner supports low taxes and water rates and wants to maintain fiscal responsibility. As mayor, Bien-Willner led Paradise Valley to create its first Strategic Revenue Plan .
