Jody Rogish graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in industrial management and a Master’s in public policy and management. Rogish has previously served as a manager for Deloitte. He currently serves as a consultant with !mpact Makers and an IT project manager for the Virginia Department of Corrections [1, 2].
Rogish wants to invest in Henrico’s schools by forging collaboration between educational institutions and families. He supports investing in modern technology and sufficient teachers and support staff for all Henrico public schools [1, 4].
Rogish wants to create more green spaces, recreational facilities, and parks. He wants to invest in these areas to improve physical and mental health, especially for children .
Rogish wants to increase affordable housing in the community through authorizing ADU’s (Accessory Dwelling Units). He supports ADUs for senior citizens to live independently but close to family, and for young couples to save money [1, 4].
Rogish supports mass transit to lessen CO2 emissions and traffic congestion. He wants to prioritize sidewalks and bike lanes as alternatives to cars [1, 4].
