Background

John Hornbeck graduated from Stetson law with his J.D.. Hornbeck is an Attorney primarily practicing criminal law and profession license defense. Hornbeck is a volunteer teaching assistant at Brooke middle school, where he teaches civics. Hornbeck is also a volunteer with northwest Presbyterian Church, as the Coordinator of Youth Ministry; teaching middle & high schools students and senior citizens bible classes. Hornbecks volunteering work was recognized by the city as volunteer of the year. Hornbeck is a father and a life long resident of St. Pete and the only district one candidate to not take money from developers.

Hornbeck aims to take kids off the street, and place them into the social and focus driven program the Walter Fuller center offers.

Affordable Housing

Hornbecks main platform is his youth development initiative, by allowing families access to the Walter Fuller recreation center by subsidizing families who can not afford it.

Along with costal resilience, Hornbecks wishes to take big initiatives to help do his part in conversing the environment of St. Petersburg.
