Background

King received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in public administration from George Mason University in 2017 and 2022. King has worked for the government for 20 years, both on the national and regional levels, specifically working with the military police through the US Army from 2001 to 2006 and as a deputy sheriff with Prince William County from 2007 to present [1, 2]. 

King previously ran for election in District 2 of the Virginia House of Delegates in 2015 and 2017, and for sheriff in 2019 [2, 4].
