Julpenia Hill graduated from Southwestern High School in Suffolk. She graduated from Norfolk State College, with a Bachelor’s in History. Hill received a Social Studies Certification from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Hill graduated from Trevecca Nazarene College at Nashville with a Master’s of Education in Guidance & Counseling.
Hill served as a Social Studies Teacher at Hamilton County Public Schools in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Hill served as a SocialWorker for Southampton County and Portsmouth, Virginia. She has also served as a TEA representative, Loan Officer, and Licensed Financial Consultant. Hill is an alumna of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. .
