Keith Silverman graduated from George Washington High School. He has a bachelor’s in Philosophy from Washington and Lee University, a bachelor’s in English Language and Literature with Secondary School Teaching Certification from Averett University, a master’s in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University, and a PhD in Philosophy from Tulane University.
Silverman has been an educator for over 20 years. He taught at Danville Community College and two at-risk youth boarding schools and was a visiting teacher for Danville Public Schools. He has spent the last 14 years as a Philosophy Instructor at Tulane University [5, 7].
Silverman wants to be a well-informed member through communication with the Danville community, including parents, teachers, and businesspeople. He wants to regularly visit schools to observe school problems directly [3, 4].
Silvermans seeks to improve school accreditation .
