Kevin W. Kenney graduated from James Wood High School in 1976 and attended Dowell J. Howard Vocational School in Building Trades. Kenney has worked as General Manager for Construction Management Inc. in Winchester and Project Manager for Caldwell Santmyer. For the last 6 years, Kenney has worked for Frederick County Public Schools and was the Supervisor of Construction for Capital Projects. He also represented Gainesboro District on the Frederick County Planning Commission from 2012 to 2022 and was chairman from 2018 [1].

Kenney has served on the Development Review and Regulations Committee and is currently a member of the Transportation Committee, Public Works Committee, Frederick Water Planning Committee, and Building Code Appeals Board. He has also served on the Regional and State Vocational Education Foundation Boards [1].
