Lucy Libosha, born in Manhattan, graduated from Fayetteville State University with a Bachelor’s degree and the University of Illinois. She served in the military for four years and was a realtor for a time. She has also served in the American Federation of Teachers, BICAS, and the Streets Coordinating Committee, and has been teaching mathematics for nineteen years.
Lucy is determined to shift toward more affordable housing for the people of Tucson.
Through community-led initiatives, Lucy is striving to provide affordable healthcare.
Libosha is adamant about green infrastructure, better streets, micro-farms, and increased public art to uplift Tucson’s communities and help the environment.
