Madelyn “Mady” Rodriguez graduated from Walden University with a master’s degree in Human Services and is currently pursuing a PhD. She works as a contracted social worker at Valley Health and as a professor at both Lord Fairfax Community College and Shenandoah University. Rodriguez is the president of the Winchester Education Foundation and serves on the boards of Arte Libre of VA, I’m Just Me mentoring, and the Family Day committee. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. ​​In December 2021, Rodriguez was unanimously appointed to the Winchester City Council [1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8].
