Major Williams graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Marketing. Williams is a former NBA player and is currently a marketing specialist and the CEO of The Major Williams Brand. From 2020 to 2021, he served as the president of the New California Governor Committee, which supports Republican California Gubernatorial candidates. He also founded Major Kicks for Kids, a non-profit that donates sneakers to low-income and academically excelling youth.
Williams grew up in Dallas, TX, and currently lives in Murrieta, CA, with his wife and three young sons.

Williams wants to address homelessness in California by re-establishing mental health hospitals, supporting rehabilitation facilities, and custom, flexible solutions.
Williams is against mandatory vaccination, lockdowns, and restrictions on local business. He also supports improving emergency preparedness plans so CA would be better prepared for future public health crises.
