Arrington received a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia and later a Juris Doctorate from Emory Law School. Arrington is a member of the Georgia State Bar. He serves as the Executive Sponsor for Fulton County’s Strategic Priority Area. Arrington is a partner at the law practice of Arrington & Phillips, LLP, and principal at Arrington Law. Arrington serves on the Board of Directors for McPherson Implementing Local Redevelopment Authority, Atlanta Fulton Recreation Authority (Vice Chair), National Organization of Black County Officials (NOBCO), and The Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia. He is also a member of the Georgia Association of Black County Officials (GABCO), Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG), and the National Association of Counties (NACo) .
Arrington was an assistant of lobbying and legal processes at Reg. Atty and AT&T, respectively. He was a law clerk at the George Court of Appeals, and a summer associate at Troutman Sanders. Arrington had also previously worked as an intern for Turner International and a legal intern for Atlanta Centennial Olympic Properties. He was the CEO of SWATS and the Executive Producer of Big Aint Bad .
Arrington is very focused on ensuring all schools have necessary resources to provide adequate education and to ensure every child has equal access to education. Arrington holds an annual school supply drive and delivers the supplies to families in need. In addition, he is holding an essay competition for college students to enter for a scholarship .
