Background

Paul Boyer received his B.A. in English, his M.A. in Communication Studies from ASU, and his M.A. in Humanities from the University of Dallas. Boyer is a former member of the Arizona State Senate, representing District 20 from 2019 to 2023 [1, 3, 4]. Boyer was also a member of the Arizona House of Representatives from 2012 to 2019 [4]. After his election, he was a sitting member of the Appropriations Committee and the Education Committee, as well as vice-chairman of the Health Committee. He was briefly a Field Representative for Bush-Cheney ‘04, a Campus Communications Director for AIPAC, a Legislative Liaison for the Arizona Department of Corrections, and an Arizona House of Representatives Communications Specialist. He later taught at Mesa Public Schools, the University of Phoenix, Veritas Preparatory Academy, and North Phoenix Preparatory Academy [3].
