Paul Shanklin graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Shanklin then went on to earn his Masters Degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University and his Doctor of Law from the University of Houston Law Center. Paul Shanklin currently serves on the Aldine ISD Board of Trustees and has served since January of 2015 [1]. Shanklin previously worked as an attorney for two different practices for 30 years. He also taught classes as an adjunct professor at Houston Community College and the University of Houston-Downtown [1] [2]. Shanklin is certified by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and serves as a Commissioner of the Harris County Courts. He has also served as an Executive Board Member of the Center for the Professional Development of Teachers at the University of Houston-Downtown and is currently on the board of multiple charity organizations [1].
