Perata Bradley received her education from several community institutions, including the Gregory Lincoln Education Center, James D Ryan, and Jack Yates High School [1]. In 2003, she was honored as a Houston Livestock and Rodeo Scholar [1]. For 10 years, she has worked as a community health consultant to  bridge the gaps within disadvantaged groups of people [1]. In May 2017, she became the CEO and Founder of the Eyes of Fourth Ward Media Team, where she still works today [1, 2]. Her plans include activities centered around economic development and affordable housing [1]. 

Bradley briefly studied at the University of Texas at Austin [1]. Later, she graduated cum laude from the University of Houston with a BS in Digital Media/Photography, a BA in Art, and a Certification in Nonprofit Leadership [1, 2].

Bradley hopes to redistribute responsibility to community agencies such as TIRZ and Redevelopment Authority to provide essential services to the community. She also supports salary cuts/wage freezes for government executives. Bradley wants to eliminate corruption in City Hall and feels that it is essential to hold the criminally minded accountable [1].


Bradley supports education and training to assist unemployed individuals and others seeking better job opportunities. She wants to increase the minimum wage to incentivize constituents to get jobs and avoid crime [1].


Bradley supports mobilizing a Community Land Trust. She wants to implement shared responsibility between developers and communities. Bradley also hopes to expand the regulation of short-term leasing [1].


Bradley supports rent relief reform for low and moderate-income households to relieve evictions and allow families time to find stable housing [1].
