Raoul Zubia has a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the University of Phoenix. He has previously held multiple professional positions such as bank branch manager of Harris Private Bank and mortgage loan processor at Bank of America. Zubia currently works as a business consultant for the technology firm IMPRIVA and has held this position since 2016. From 2021 to 2022, he served as chairman of the Scottsdale Human Services Commission. He also previously served as a board member of the organization Scottsdale Leadership from 2008-2011 .
Zubia wants to ensure that small businesses have a voice through the city council. 
Zubia wants to keep providing adequate amounts of funding for city fire and police departments to help protect the public.
