Background

Bloxom attended the University of Richmond and is the third-generation owner of Shore Tire & Auto, as well as the owner and operator of Egret Pointe Seafood Company. Additionally, Bloxom works in his community through the Grace United Methodist Church, Onancock Rotary, and as the coordinator of the Eastern Shore of Virginia’s Habitat of Humanity roofing team [1].

Bloxom was first elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in February 2014, where he represents the 100th District. Bloxom was selected as the 2015 Legislative Rookie of the Year by the Virginia Education Association and was named a Champion of Economic Development in 2019 by the Eastern Shore Economic Development Authority. Bloxom is a member of the Privileges and Elections, Appropriations, and Agriculture and Natural Resources committee, and also serves on the Chesapeake Bay Commission [1].
