Background

Sova studied architectural engineering at the University of Illinois and the Illinois Institute of Technology. He was previously the owner of a land development and a building development, where he was a development consultant [6]. Sova previously served in the U.S. Army. He is currently a member of the Cave Creek American Legion [2]. Sova was first elected as Cave Creek Town council member in 2016, and was re-elected in 2018 and 2020 [1]. While on the town council, he served one term on the Water Commission and another on the Plan Commission [6].
