Scott September has worked in the telecommunications industry for over 25 years, all leading up to his current position as Regional Manager with the company Crown Castle. September previously served on the Gilbert Planning Commission and was appointed to the Gilbert Town Council in 2020. He is currently the Gilbert Planning Commission liaison and serves on multiple Arizona management committees [1]. September also serves on the board of Cece’s Hope Center [2]. He is currently on the MAG Economic Development Committee, the League of Cities and Towns Budget Finance and Economic Development Committee, and the East Valley Partnership [6].

September supports lowering taxes by reducing government spending and managing the budget in Gilbert. He would also like to ease administration processes and reduce regulations. While serving on the city council in the CARES Act Subcommittee, September focused on efforts to support the recovery of businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic [2].

September wants to provide public safety departments with adequate resources to protect the city [3]. He believes in the construction of a crime lab for Gilbert to increase evidence processing efficiency [2].
