Steve Colangelo is a small business owner, owning American Event Rentals. He is a former radio announcer and personality on KROY, KWOD 106 and KGNR News Radio 1320. He was also an Auxiliary Police Officer in Sacramento. He started Metro Expositions in 1985, making Home and Garden Shows. In 1992, he founded American Convention and Exposition Services, which helps produce events. Colangelo was president of the Stockton San Joaquin Convention and Visitors Bureau. Colangelo was also Financial Vice President of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce and served as Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee, representing the American Rental Association [1].
