Steven J. Ding graduated from California State University, Chico. While attending Chico, he commuted back to Stockton to work for the Supervisor. After graduating, he worked for Congressman Richard Pombo, eventually becoming Chief of Staff and Staff Director of the Resources Committee. In 2010, Ding bought Woodbridge Crossing restaurant, which he currently operates [1]. He serves on the Executive Board of the Lodi Boys & Girls Club and is a member of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce, the Lodi Chamber of Commerce and The California Restaurant Association. Ding was the Businessman of the Year locally and by the California State Senate because of his service to the local community [4].
