Walter Rekuc Jr. earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University and graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has served as Fulton County’s Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor since 2019. His governmental positions include serving as Supervisor of the Fulton County Soil & Water Conservation District since 1999, Basin Advisory Member in the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District since 2015, and Chairman and Member of the Board of Zoning Appeals in Milton, Georgia for 10 years. Rekuc also has over 30 years of experience as a project manager and 40 years in construction, currently working as a Construction Project Manager for Fulton County Public Works. Rekuc is managing a $330 million dollar expansion of the Big Creek Water Reclamation Facility. He is a former president of Hillside Development, LLC [1] [3].
