Background
Richard Fimbres, raised in Tucson, graduated high school and went on to joining the army as a military policeman during the time of the Vietnam War. He has served as a Governing Board Member for the Pima County Community College and as Director of the Arizona’s Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS). He has won multiple awards, including but not limited to the Jefferson Award for community service, Pima County Sheriff’s Department’s Officer of the Year Award, and the NOBLE Law Enforcement Award. He is currently on the Tucson Council.
