Ben Dewell

Dewell believes that man-made climate change is wreaking havoc on our planet with extreme weather, uncontrollable wildfires, and crop failures. He believes that we must transition to renewable energy in order to meet the Intergovernmental Panel on climate change goals [1].

Dewell believes that social security is the most successful and lifesaving entitlement program. He also argues that Republicans are trying to absolve the program and that Democrats must protect the program [1].

While Dewell does not personally agree with abortions, he supports legal access to abortions in order to protect mothers. He believes abortion related decisions should be left to individuals rather than the government [1].
