Background
Koerner received a BA in chemistry from Colby College and a BS in civil engineering from the University of Connecticut, and later earned an MBA from George Mason University. Koerner worked in environmental manufacturing for over three decades with Environmental Network International LLC, and has previously worked as the chair of the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Ordinance Exemption Review Committee, Vice President of the Fox Heritage Homeowner’s Association, and has previously served as the ExCom Chair of the Great Falls Chapter of the Sierra Club. Koerner currently serves as elected Director of the Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District [2].
