He plans to coordinate with the Commissioner of the Revenue and Treasurer’s Office to provide educational workshops and guidance to businesses regarding compliance, tax laws, and streamline services [1, 2].

Telkamp plans to partner with Virginia’s Minority Business Commission and secretary of commerce, as well as the Virginia Beach Minority Business Council, to establish a SWAM business center in Virginia Beach that can accommodate the minority business community. He supports the UE 111 city employee union calling for collective bargaining, and believes city employees should be paid more [1, 2].
