Background
Mason received a BA in government from the College of William and Mary in 1989. Mason’s professional experience includes serving as a marketing representative with Xerox, a Regional Sales Manager with LandAmerica Financial Group, and as a Senior Account Executive with VISA. Mason also worked as a Board Member of the Greater Williamsburg Charter and Tourism Alliance and as a chairman of the Williamsburg Economic Development Authority [6].
Mason was first elected as a Delegate in 2014 in Virginia’s 93rd District and as a Senator for Virginia’s 1st District in 2016. Mason serves on the committees for agriculture, commerce and labor, general laws and technology, privileges and elections, and rehabilitation and social services [2, 6].
